For the division of your mixed fractions, first I’d recommend not using mixed fractions when solving equations and sticking with the improper fractions throughout. So you’d have 4/3 divided by -5/2.
You’re dividing a fraction by another fraction, which means you can multiply the first fraction by the reciprocal of the second fraction. That’s the rule you’ll have to remember.
So 4/3 times -2/5. Multiply straight across the top and bottom for fractions to obtain -8/15.
