My school made us solve for y to so we plugged in the solution in the easiest equation so itās easier to solve 2(8)+y=4 then 16+y=4 subtract 16 and y=-12 so now make it a point (8,-12)
OR you could just do this! Since 3x-y=12 can also be worte as x+(2x-y)=12, then we can say that x+4=12 'cause we know that 2x-y=4. From here it is preety easy: x=12-4=8
